Kidsafe ACT's Services

Kidsafe ACT offers a range of community services to help with our mission to make the world a safer place for kids.
Some of these services include:

• Free child restraint checks
• Installation of your own child restraint
• Child restraints, safety products, nursery furniture, toys and gifts for sale.
• Child restraint hire (by appointment)
• Advice from our qualified team on:
  • National child restraint regulations
  • Choosing a child restraint, fitting and using it correctly
  • Car and road safety including teaching children to be safe pedestrians
  • Home safety, baby-proofing and choosing nursery furniture
• Brochures, fact sheets and other material on all of the above
• Information from other organisations such as Sids & Kids, NAPCAN, Cancer Council, Royal Lifesaving Society, Playgroups ACT, PANDSI, Parentlink and many more.
